New York - and a Return to a Restless State of Mind
I really should not be surprised that sleep is escaping me at the moment...
I've taken the tactic tonight of having a steamy bath (so I now smell of Lush), and have drunk only one cup of tea the entire evening. Ah - but I have a tea mountain of lovely teas... and I fear that sleep may still be evasive.
I am preparing for a trip to New York, which is one reason for the wakefulness. But it's not all about stress. I have also had a load of good news lately...
For one thing, Alan Moore has read my story, and my gosh, appears to like it. Look at my website - there is book shininess and quote loveliness to behold!
It's not the only bit of good news... I've had an article published in the premier comedy webzine, Chortle. Please read it - it's all about running events in working mens clubs.
I'm planning my next story project now, and going to crack on with the novel. It's lovely that I now have a list of published stuff, but it does look a bit, well, gappy.
