I know my place...

Since last week I've had this survey company ring me to ask if I wouldn't mind taking part in a survey. The first time they rang, I asked them to call back in 10 minutes as my vistors were just leaving. They didn't call back that night, but called yesterday when I was about to head out of the door myself. finally, they tried again tonight. I said no problem, fire ahead, ask me your questions.
About 6 questions in, they asked me what I did for a living. I gave them my job title. When the girl put me on hold because she wanted to check my 'status' with her boss, I just assumed it was because she didn't know what my title meant. No one does!
She came back on. "I'm sorry, I can't ask you any more questions. Your status is too low. We are only speaking to people of status D to O, so that's why we only want to talk to professionals."
Oh.
I don't know, but *sniff* I feel quite affronted by that. Bet my status is bloomin' higher than hers!
I get paid for what I do, don't I? I'm sure I've been called a pro before anyway...
